Freight Pricing Specialist (Cross-Border Trade) Location:Bangkok, Thailand Department:Cross-Border Trade & Pricing Operations

We are currently establishing our logistics presence in Thailand and are seeking a meticulous and highly strategic Freight Pricing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the analytical backbone of our cross-border trade operations, ensuring competitive pricing, strong vendor management, and optimized profit margins for regional land, sea, or air freight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rate Procurement & Management:Negotiate, secure, and maintain competitive freight rates with carriers, shipping lines, and cross-border trucking vendors.
  • Quotation & Cost Analysis:Provide accurate, timely, and profitable freight quotes to the sales team and corporate clients for regional cross-border movements.
  • Market Analysis:Monitor market trends, fuel surcharges, and fluctuating capacity to dynamically adjust pricing strategies.
  • RFQs & Tenders:Manage the end-to-end pricing workflow for large-scale customer RFQs (Request for Quotes) and tender submissions.
  • Margin Optimization:Analyze cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities and maximize profitability per shipment.

Requirements

  • Experience:Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing, routing, or cost analysis, specifically focused on cross-border logistics.
  • Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Excel (data analysis, formulas) and exposure to Transport Management Systems (TMS).
  • Languages:Professional fluency in Thai and English to coordinate effectively with regional stakeholders and global carriers.
  • Key Traits:Exceptionally detail-oriented, highly analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines for urgent quote requests.
