About the Role

We’re looking for a relationship-driven Account Executive to join our Customer Success team, focused on managing and expanding our existing customer relationships. You’ll work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to drive renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities by deeply understanding each customer's business, aligning on their goals, and demonstrating how our platform helps them achieve measurable success.

This is not your typical hunter AE role—your focus will be on long-term value, customer partnership, and collaborative growth.

Responsibilities

Own the commercial relationship for a book of existing customers.

Drive expansion opportunities by identifying upsell and cross-sell needs.

Lead and manage the renewal process, including pricing discussions and contract negotiations, for those customers going out to RFP/RFI for renewal.

Partner with Customer Success Managers to align on strategic account plans and customer objectives.

Understand customer business models, usage trends, and product adoption to inform growth strategies.

Maintain accurate forecasts and updates in Salesforce or CRM.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Support teams.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in account executive, customer success, or renewal-focused sales roles.

Proven ability to meet or exceed expansion and renewal targets.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

High emotional intelligence (EQ); skilled at building trust and handling objections diplomatically.

Strong analytical mindset; ability to leverage customer data and product usage insights.

Comfortable with contract terms and commercial discussions.

CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Gainsight, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B healthcare companies

Experience working in a CS-led or post-sale sales model.

Understanding of the healthcare landscape and customer pain points.

What Success Looks Like

95%+ renewal rate on owned accounts

Measurable expansion revenue from upsell/cross-sell activity

Consistently positive feedback from CSM and cross-functional partners

Deep account mapping and commercial forecasting accuracy
