Job Description

Responsibilities & Core Competencies

Engineering & Technical Delivery

  • Module Development: Design, build, and maintain backend modules using .NET 8, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Containerization: Containerize and deploy application services across Hybrid On-Premise environments, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Service Bus).
  • Google Workspace Integration: Develop robust integrations using Google Workspace APIs (Gmail API, Drive API, Calendar API, Sheets REST API, Google Chat Apps/Webhooks, and OAuth 2.0 / Service Account authorization).
  • AI & Agentic Workflows: Implement modern AI architecture patterns, LLM function calling, and intelligent agent workflows using Semantic Kernel and the Gemini API.

Quality, Security & Testing

  • Automated Testing: Perform comprehensive unit and integration testing (xUnit / NUnit) to guarantee code meets functional, technical, and performance specifications.
  • Code Reviews & DevSecOps: Actively participate in peer pull request (PR) reviews, enforce secure coding standards, and remediate security findings or defect logs through to closure.

Agile & Collaboration

  • Sprint Execution: Formulate calculated effort estimates (story points, time allocations), strictly adhere to Scrum framework ceremonies, and collaborate seamlessly across feature squads.
  • Technical Documentation: Author and maintain clear technical documentation, API specifications, system logical flowcharts, and release notes for all assigned software deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience with enterprise Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / modern .NET (8+), ASP.NET Core Web API, and relational databases (SQL Server, EF Core / ADO.NET).
  • Workspace & API Integrations: Practical experience integrating backend systems with Google Workspace APIs (REST APIs, OAuth 2.0 authentication flows, Service Account authorization, Webhooks).
  • Cloud Platform: Practical experience developing and deploying services on Microsoft Azure.
  • Methodology: Proven experience working within an Agile/Scrum delivery model using Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience writing unit/integration tests and working with continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical peers and business stakeholders.

Added Advantage / Good-to-Have Skills

  • AppSec & DevSecOps Governance: Familiarity with Cycode (or similar Application Security Posture Management / ASPM tools) for automated SAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, and code supply chain security guardrails within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Google Workspace Extensions: Hands-on experience developing Google Workspace Apps, Chat Add-ons, or Apps Script extensions.
  • AI & Agentic Frameworks: Exposure to AI integrations, LLM function calling, or Semantic Kernel / Agent Frameworks.
  • Modern Infrastructure: Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) and event-driven architectures.
