About us
Truffle Security is a cybersecurity company on a mission to make secrets easier to detect, verify, and remediate across modern software environments. Built on the popular open-source TruffleHog secrets scanning platform, the company’s enterprise solution gives security and engineering teams everything they need to find exposed credentials, understand which ones are active, and act on them with confidence.
With support for 800+ credential types, Truffle Security continuously monitors non-human identities (NHIs) and their associated secrets across code repositories, SaaS applications, wikis, and cloud systems. It goes beyond detection by verifying which secrets are live, analyzing their scope of access, and streamlining remediation through automated workflows and lifecycle management so teams can prioritize what to revoke and confirm it’s done without manual follow-up.
Trusted by organizations including NVIDIA, Chick-fil-A, and OpenAI, Truffle Security helps security and engineering teams stay ahead of secrets risk.
About the role
This is our first dedicated Revenue Operations leadership hire, and we’re going to be honest about what you’re walking into.
Our GTM systems and processes work, but they were built reactively as the business grew. There is not yet a cohesive, intentional revenue operations architecture, and that’s exactly what we’re hiring you to create.
That’s the opportunity. You’ll own the full GTM operations stack, define what RevOps means at Truffle, and build the function from a strong revenue base rather than a blank page. You’ll inherit one Business Systems team member, hire a planned GTM Engineer, and grow the team as the business scales, including standing up functions like deal desk that don’t exist today.
We’re open on level. Depending on your experience, this role could be Director or VP scope. What matters is that you’ve built before and want to build again.
What you’ll be working on
Systems foundation. Own the end-to-end GTM operations architecture in Salesforce and across the stack, building proper pipelines, attribution, lead routing and scoring, and enrichment, replacing manual workflows with systems that scale. Treat GTM systems as an information architecture and build for the long term.
Full GTM operations. Marketing ops, sales ops, customer success ops. This is the full sweep, not just sales ops.
Revenue data integrity. Establish a single source of truth for revenue data used across the company. Your dashboards and reporting should be the ones leadership relies on.
Deal desk and quoting. Stand up deal desk and quoting processes that support enterprise deals without creating bottlenecks for AEs.
Marketing operations infrastructure. Build the measurement and attribution backbone the marketing team depends on to understand what’s working.
Compensation design. Partner with leadership on sales incentive compensation planning and administration that drives the right behaviors.
Forecasting. Build a disciplined forecasting process across new business and expansion so leadership has a real view of the quarter.
Annual planning. Own the annual planning cycle: territory design, quota setting, capacity modeling, and headcount planning, tying spend to revenue growth.
The GTM tech stack. Manage budgets, vendor selection, and contract renewals across the GTM tooling stack, including Salesforce, Clari, Marketo or HubSpot, Outreach or Salesloft, LeanData, ZoomInfo, and Dealfront.
Process and definitions. Establish clear stage definitions, pipeline hygiene standards, and qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC) across the revenue org. Nobody has standardized this yet; you will.
Team building. Manage and develop the Business Systems team member you inherit, hire and onboard a GTM Engineer, and continue growing the function as the business scales.
What success looks like in year one
- Salesforce and the surrounding GTM stack run as a coherent system, not a patchwork of automations. Team members trust the data.
- The business has reliable reporting and a forecasting motion leadership plans against.
- Deal desk and quoting are operational, and enterprise deals move through without manual chaos.
- Annual planning, compensation, and territory/quota processes run on a defined and repeatable cadence.
- You’ve built a small, high-functioning RevOps team, and your cross-functional partners want your team in the room early.
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related roles in technology companies, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Deep Salesforce expertise. You know the platform well enough to architect it properly (Admin certification is a plus, but demonstrated depth matters more).
- You’ve built RevOps infrastructure at a company at a similar stage, ideally as the first or early dedicated RevOps leader. You have opinions about what right looks like and patterns you can pull from.
- Experience across the full GTM motion: inbound and outbound, PLG influence, enterprise sales cycles, and expansion.
- Experience selecting and managing a modern GTM tooling stack.
- Strong analytical instincts. You can get into the data, spot what’s off, and translate it into decisions.
- People leadership experience, or clear readiness to lead: you’ve managed, mentored, or run cross-functional workstreams with accountability for outcomes.
- A builder’s orientation. You’re energized by creating the function, not just inheriting a machine. You move fast on priorities and think long-term about architecture.
- You communicate clearly and influence cross-functionally. You’ll be advising the CRO and CEO on decisions that shape the business.
Bonus points
- Experience in cybersecurity or developer-tooling markets.
- Familiarity with open-source-led GTM motions and product-led growth.
- Familiarity with AI use in GTM: enrichment, scoring, forecasting, or AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience supporting a usage-based or consumption pricing model alongside subscription licensing.
Why this role
Most RevOps leadership roles hand you a function and ask you to optimize it. This one asks you to invent it. You’ll have executive sponsorship, a real budget, a team to build, and a CEO and CRO who understand that RevOps is a growth lever, not a reporting function. If you’ve been running someone else’s playbook and want to write your own, this is that role.
Compensation
This role offers a base salary range of $210,000 to $250,000 for candidates in the United States. Actual base pay will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and geographic location. The stated salary range serves as a guideline and is subject to change. Additional benefits include equity participation, health, dental, and vision coverage, flexible paid time off, flexible Fridays, 100% remote + company off-sites, home office stipend, and more.
Fully remote within the U.S. Truffle Security takes a remote-first approach to work, with most roles fully remote in the regions where we operate, and two to three company off-site gatherings each year where we connect in person.
At Truffle Security Co., we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to do their best work. We believe diverse perspectives lead to stronger teams and better outcomes for our customers, and we encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply, even if they do not meet every qualification listed above. We are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
